Each day from now until the Friday before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, we’ll post a list of stats related to the race. Some of well-known statistics, while others are a little more in-depth.

Here is a look at the overall victories by constructors. Porsche leads all constructors with 19 victories. A total of 24 constructors have won the race overall at least once.

Notes of Interest
- Porsche set a record for consecutive victories with seven, between 1981 and 1987.
- Germany has a record 34 victories – Porsche, Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
- Seven of Tom Kristensen’s record nine victories have come with Audi. Kristensen has also won once each with Porsche and Bentley.

- Toyota nearly became the 25th constructor to win overall in 2016. With less than three minutes remaining in the race, a mechanical failure occurred on the lead Toyota TS050 Hybrid Toyota 2.4L Turbo V6, driven by Kazuki Nakajima. The car completed 384 laps, the same as the winning Porsche, but it took the car nearly 12 minutes to complete the last lap, more than the maximum allotment of six minutes, and therefore was not classified.
