Russian-born Vladimir Chagin celebrates his 49th birthday today, the day before the 41st edition of the Dakar Rally begins. Happy birthday, Vladimir!

Chagin, known as “The Tsar of Dakar,” owns the record for most victories in the Dakar Rally in the truck category, with seven. Here is a list of major races and the drivers that have won that race the most.
