victory and 251st of his career, leading from the second lap until the checkered
flag. Brad Sweet finished second, followed by Sheldon Haudenschild – who earned
the victory in the first race of the weekend. Jason Johnson was fourth and Chad
Kemenah fifth.

Notes of Interest – Race Recap (DIRTcar Nationals, Night 3)
- This was Donny Schatz’s second World of Outlaws A-Main
victory of the season and 251st A-Main win of his career.
- This marked Schatz’s series-leading 13th victory at
Volusia Speedway Park and fifth consecutive season in which he’s won at least
one race at the Florida track. He has won at least one race at Volusia in nine
of the last 12 seasons, dating back to 2007.
- Schatz is the only driver this season with three finishes
in the top five.
- Shane Stewart won a heat race for the third consecutive
night and is the only driver to win heat races in each of the first three races.
- Kyle Larson was the
only driver to make his season debut Sunday. He finished 18th.
- Three drivers missed their first A-Main feature of the
season: Cory Eliason, Brent Marks and Kasey Kahne.
- Drivers who earned their best A-Main feature finish of the
season were Brad Sweet (2nd); Chad Kemenah (5th); Brian Brown (7th); Parker
Price-Miller (10th); Kraig Kinser (13th); and Ian Madsen (14th). Jacob Allen
tied his season best (26th).
- A total of 17 drivers finished the race on the lead lap,
with Daryn Pittman the final driver on the same lap as Schatz.
- Nine drivers completed all 90 A-Main feature laps at
