Notes of Interest – Race Recap (Bubba Army Winter Nationals, Night 2)
- This was Tim Shaffer’s 61st career All-Star Circuit of Champions A-Main Feature victory and first of the season. Shaffer is fourth all-time in A-Main Feature victories behind Dale Blaney (134), Kenny Jacobs (98) and Joey Saldana (74).
- Shaffer has now won All-Star Circuit of Champions races in 10 of the last 11 seasons (exception in 2016) and 14 overall. He was a four-time A-Main Feature race winner in 2017.
- Paul McMahan and Greg Hodnett each advanced nine positions. A total of 13 drivers improved from their starting position to their finishing position.
- A total of 19 drivers have competed in both races this week at Bubba Raceway Park.
- Five drivers competed in their first A-Main Feature of the season Friday: Lucas Wolfe , Steve Buckwalter, Anthony Fiore, Trevor Baker and Danny Smith.
