Sebastian Vettel pulled ahead of polesitter Lewis Hamilton on the opening lap of the 44-lap affair and led the rest of the way in a dominating victory, besting Hamilton by 11.061 seconds. The victory was Vettel’s 52nd in Formula 1 and his 107th career podium, moving him into sole possession of third place and out of a tie with four-time champion Alain Prost. Max Verstappen rounded out the podium.
