The latest edition of the all-encompassing Motor Racing Statistics “By The Numbers” blog, which looks at numbers throughout many forms of motorsports. This blog runs on Tuesdays through the year.

4 – Christopher Bell scored his fourth career NASCAR Xfinity Series victory Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, earning back-to-back wins for the first time this season. He is the second driver with consecutive wins in the Xfinity Series in 2018; Kyle Larson had won the two races previous to Bell’s win at Kentucky Speedway.

5 – Lewis Hamilton leads all drivers in Grand Prix of Hungary victories, with five. His wins came in 2007, 2009, 2012, 2013 and 2016. He has never gone on to win the Formula 1 World Championship in a season in which he’s won the Grand Prix of Hungary, however.

5 – Scott Dixon leads all drivers in IndyCar victories at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, with five. His last victory at the 2.258-mile track came in 2014.

6 – Kevin Harvick owns a series-high six Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series victories this season, and is the ninth driver over the age of 40 with at least six wins in a single season.

7 – Leah Pritchett earned her seventh career NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Top Fuel victory in Sunday’s Dodge Mile-High NHRA Nationals at Bandimere Speedway in Morrison, Colorado. She defeated Tate Totten, Scott Palmer and Clay Millican in the first three rounds before besting Doug Kalitta in the finals with a pass of 3.831 seconds at 316.45 mph.

7 – Hannu Mikkola and Marcus Gronholm hold the record for most victories in Rally Finland, with seven each. Points leader Thierry Neuville has never won the event, while five-time defending WRC titlist Sebastien Ogier has only won the event once, in 2013.

7.75 – Through 20 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races this season, Kyle Busch holds an average race finish of 7.75.

8 – Chase Briscoe’s victory in the Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway on Wednesday, July 18, made him the eighth driver this season to win in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

9 – This weekend’s Rally Finland marks the ninth round on the 2018 World Rally Championship season.

9 – Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch have finished first and second in the same Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race nine times in their history, including four times this season.

11 – McLaren holds a record 11 Formula 1 World Championship victories in the Grand Prix of Hungary.

14 – Fourteen drivers have won A-Main features in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series this season, with Kyle Larson (Lernerville Speedway); Freddie Rahmer (Lincoln Speedway); and Lance Dewease (Williams Grove Speedway) all winning for the first time this season last week in Pennsylvania. For Rahmer, it marked his first career World of Outlaws win, and he and his dad became the sixth father-son duo to win World of Outlaws A-Main features.

34 – This weekend’s Grand Prix of Hungary marks the 34th edition of the Hungarian Grand Prix. All 33 previous races, as well as this year’s event, have been held at the Hungaroring in Mogyorod, just outside Budapest.

34 – Like Formula 1, this weekend’s IndyCar Series race marks the 34th IndyCar race at a specific track. The series will race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. Josef Newgarden is the defending race winner.

43 – Kevin Harvick won his 43rd Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, moving him to within one victory for a tie for 17th all-time in Cup wins.

47 – Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. have combined to lead 47 percent of this year’s 5,708 laps in Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series competition this season.

66 – Lewis Hamilton’s victory in Sunday’s Grand Prix of Germany at the Hockenheimring was the 66th in his Formula 1 World Championship career.
