Each day from now until the Friday before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, we’ll post a list of stats related to the race. Some are well-known statistics, while others are a little more in-depth.
Here are the 14 drivers who have won IndyCar championships in either USAC, the CART/Champ Car World Series and/or the Indy Racing League/IndyCar Series, and competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Some of the IndyCar titles were Indianapolis 500 victories (part of the USAC Gold Crown Series).

- Danny Sullivan: 2 IndyCar titles (1985, 1998); competed at Le Mans in 1988, 1994, 1996, 2004
- Roger McCluskey: 1 IndyCar title (1973); competed at Le Mans in 1967
- Arie Luyendyk: 1 IndyCar title (1990); competed at Le Mans in 1989
