Donny Schatz earned his series-leading sixth A-Main feature of the 2018 season, leading 34 of the 40 laps to best David Gravel to the checkered flag by 1.495 seconds. Third was Kerry Madsen, followed by Shane Stewart and Jason Johnson.

Notes of Interest – Race Recap (Lake Ozark Speedway)
- This is Donny Schatz’s series-leading sixth World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series A-Main feature victory of the season and the 267th of his career. He remains third all-time in A-Main victories.
- This is Schatz’s first victory at Lake Ozark Speedway, in the first World of Outlaws race at the track since 2007 (Craig Dollansky).
- Schatz’s six victories are the most of the six drivers that have won races this season. Sheldon Haudenschild and Daryn Pittman each have three, while Cory Eliason, Aaron Reutzel and David Gravel each have one.
- Schatz’s victory came from the third-starting position, marking the first time a race has been won from third this season.
- This is Schatz’s 11th top-five and 14th top-10 finish of the season, both best marks among all drivers. Schatz also has a best average finish of 3.87.
- Schatz has won every A-Main race in which he’s led this season. He’s led 83 laps among his six victories.
- David Gravel finished second, earning his seventh consecutive top-10 finish. Gravel has seven top fives and 12 top 10s in 2018.
- Kerry Madsen finished a season-best third at Lake Ozark, in his first World of Outlaws A-Main feature in four races. Madsen’s previous best finish this season was sixth at Volusia Speedway Park in February.
- Shane Stewart finished fourth, with his sixth top five and 12th top 10 of 2018.
- Jason Johnson finished fifth for the second consecutive race, notching his seventh top five and 12th top 10 of 2018. Johnson also tied Shane Stewart for most heat wins this season with six.

- Greg Wilson finished a season-best 15th for the fourth time this season. Wilson has competed in eight A-Main features this year.
- Clyde Knipp claimed a season-best 16th-place finish.
- Spencer Bayston was the only driver to make their A-Main season debut. Bayston set the event’s fast time in qualifying before finishing 19th in the A-Main.
- Thirteen drivers finished the A-Main on the lead lap.
- Three drivers have completed all 490 A-Main feature laps this season: Donny Schatz, Brad Sweet and Shane Stewart.
