IndyCar Race Polesitters at ISM Raceway (April 3, 2018)

This weekend's Desert Diamond West Valley Phoenix Grand Prix at ISM Raceway in Avondale, Arizona, marks the 64th IndyCar race. The first IndyCar race, sanctioned by USAC, was in 1964, with A.J. Foyt leading all 100 laps.

IndyCar races have been part of USAC, CART and IndyCar Series championships. A total of 26 drivers have earned a pole position at the track. Bobby Unser leads all drivers in poles with 10: seven in USAC competition and three in CART.
