Christopher Bell earned his third consecutive Xfinity Series victory, becoming the first driver to win three straight in the series since July 2016. Bell led 94 laps and held off Justin Allgaier by less than a half second in a race that went seven laps into overtime. Kyle Benjamin finished third, while Ross Chastain advanced a race-high 14 positions to tie a career-best fourth-place finish – also set at Iowa in 2017. John Hunter Nemechek finished fifth.

- This is Christopher Bell's series-leading fourth NASCAR Xfinity Series victory of the season and the fifth of his career. Bell also won the Xfinity Series race at Richmond International Raceway in April and the last three races – at Kentucky Speedway; New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Iowa Speedway.
- This is Bell’s first win at Iowa Speedway and second on a track measuring less than one mile. Bell’s first career victory came at Kansas Speedway in 2017.
