Event Recap: 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series Statistics from Daytona (July 6, 2018)

Event statistics following the 16th race of the 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, the Coca-Cola Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Kyle Larson won his second consecutive Xfinity Series race – he also won last weekend’s race at Chicagoland Speedway – and series-leading third victory in an exhilarating finish at the World Center of Racing. Officially, Larson – who also won each of the two stages – finished 0.005 seconds ahead of Elliott Sadler, in a race that was extended by five laps after a multi-car crash late. Justin Haley, making his series debut at Daytona, crossed the finish line first, but his Chevrolet dipped under the yellow line, and he was scored 18th. Christopher Bell, Ryan Blaney and Kaz Grala rounded out the top five.
