Event Recap: 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series Statistics from Michigan (June 9, 2018)

Event statistics following the 13th race of the 2018 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, the LTi Printing 250 at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan.

Austin Dillon ended a 26-race winless streak in the Xfinity Series, and a 55-race winless streak for Richard Childress Racing, by winning the race-shortened, 91-lap race. Dillon led the final three laps, passing teammate Daniel Hemric on a restart, then leading when the much forecasted rain finally fell enough to stop and eventually end the race two laps later. Hemric was second, with Cole Custer, Ryan Reed and Paul Menard rounding out the top five.

- This is Austin Dillon’s first NASCAR Xfinity series victory of the season and the ninth of his career.
- This is Dillon’s first victory at Michigan International Speedway. Dillon has now won Xfinity Series races at seven different tracks. He has three victories on tracks of two miles or more, and eight on tracks of at least a mile-and-a-half.
- This is Dillon’s first victory since the 2016 summer race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
