Lucas di Grassi continued his hot streak, scoring his first victory of the season and fifth consecutive podium in leading 22 of the 39 laps. Sam Bird finished second, 7.542 seconds in arrears, while Jerome D’Ambrosio earned his first podium of 2018.

Saturday’s race marked the eighth race of the 2018 calendar year (first two rounds in Hong Kong were held at the end of 2017).
