Daryn Pittman scored his third victory in the last four A-Main features, leading all 25 laps to beat Logan Schuchart by a half second. Jason Johnson, Donny Schatz and Brad Sweet rounded out the top five.

Notes of Interest – Race Recap (Night #1, Texas Outlaw Nationals)
- This is Daryn Pittman’s third World of Outlaws A-Main feature victory of the season and the 75th of his career. He remains 10th all-time in A-Main victories.
- This is Pittman’s second victory at Devil Bowl’s Speedway; he also won the second Devil’s Bowl race in 2014.
- Pittman is the third driver with three or more A-Main victories this season, joining Donny Schatz (four) and Sheldon Haudenschild (three). Cory Eliason, Aaron Reutzel and David Gravel each have one.
- Pittman’s victory came from the pole position, marking the third time a race has been won from the pole (joining Cory Eliason at Stockton, Calif., and David Gravel at Paige, Texas). All three of the races in which the polesitter has won have also been races in which the winner led every lap of the A-Main.
-  The first and sixth starting positions have produced the most A-Main feature victories with three each.
- This is Pittman’s fourth top-five finish of the season – all in succession – and his eighth top-10 finish in 13 races.
- Pittman has led 74 laps in three of the last four races, and his 74 laps led are the second most of any driver this season, behind Sheldon Haudenschild’s 107 laps led.
- Pittman also became the ninth driver this season to win a dash, besting Logan Schuchart and Donny Schatz.
- Logan Schuchart earned a season-best second in the 25-lapper, bettering his previous best result of third at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek. Schuchart also won his third heat of the season.
- Fast qualifier Jason Johnson finished third, his second consecutive third-place finish and third of the season. Johnson now has five top fives and 10 top 10s in 13 A-Main feature in 2018. Johnson also earned his fourth heat victory of the season, and became only the second driver with multiple fast qualifying efforts this season, joining Sheldon Haudenschild (who has three).
- Points leader Donny Schatz finished fourth, his sixth consecutive top-10 finish and 12th in 13 races this season.
- Brad Sweet finished fifth with his fourth consecutive top-five result, and maintained second in the points standings.
- Kasey Kahne notched a season-best sixth-place finish.
- Ian Madsen recorded his first top-10 finish in the last five A-Mains with seventh-place effort.
- David Gravel finished eighth, his fifth consecutive top-10 result.
- Sheldon Haudenschild was ninth, with his 10th top-10 finish in 13 A-Mains in 2018. Haudenschild was the A-Main hard charger, moving up five positions from his 14th-place starting spot.
- Shane Stewart also finish in the top 10 for the 10th time this season, finishing 10th. Stewart also earned his series-leading fifth heat victory of the season, surpassing early season leader Brian Brown.
- For the second consecutive A-Main, all eight drivers whom have competed in the first 13 A-Main features this season finished in the top 10. Kasey Kahne (sixth) and Ian Madsen (seventh) joined the other eight among the top-10 finishers.
- Greg Wilson tied his season-best finish of 15th, for the third consecutive A-Main in which he has contested.
- Jacob Allen and Clyde Knipp also earned season-best finishes for the second consecutive race, finishing 17th and 18th respectively.
- Three drivers made their A-Main season-debuts Friday: Tucker Klaasmeyer (19th); Ryan Robinson (20th); and Dale Wester (23rd). 
- Nineteen drivers finished the A-Main on the lead lap, tying the season-best mark set twice previously at Volusia Speedway Park and The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
- Three drivers have completed all 420 A-Main feature laps this season: Donny Schatz, Brad Sweet and Shane Stewart.
- The next race will be Saturday, April 28, with the second night of the Texas Outlaw Nationals at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas.
